A 16-year-old adolescent sustained severe injuries following a collision between his bicycle and a car in the La Verdellada area of La Laguna (Tenerife), as reported by the Canary Islands 112 Emergency and Security Coordination Centre.
The incident took place on Thursday afternoon on Emilio Gutiérrez Salazar Street in the mentioned area. Upon arrival at the scene, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) personnel found that the minor had suffered a serious head injury. Consequently, he was transported by ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital.
Local Police officers also responded to the scene of the accident and compiled the necessary report.
