SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 8. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 60-year-old hiker has suffered a moderate injury after suffering a fall on the Camino de La Coronela, in Garachico (Tenerife), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred this Friday, at 12:31 p.m., in the aforementioned place where members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium were transported to rescue the affected woman and take her to the place where the Canarian Emergency Service personnel were located ( SUC).
The SUC staff then verified that the woman had, at the initial time of assistance, moderate ankle trauma, for which she was transferred by ambulance to the Hospital del Norte.
For their part, Civil Guard agents carried out the corresponding procedures.
