SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 1 (EUROPA PRESS) –
This Friday, the Tenerife Fire Prevention and Extinction and Rescue Consortium formalized indefinite employment contracts and the appointment of career civil servants for 17 employees.
This complies with the legal mandate provided for in Law 20/2021, of December 28, on urgent measures to reduce temporary employment in public employment, which provides that these processes in all Public Administrations be completed prior to the December 31, 2024.
The insular director of Security and Emergencies, Iván Martín, points out in a note that “the first step has been taken in the extraordinary process of stabilization of temporary employment of a structural and permanent nature through the free access shift through the competition system that is has been developing throughout the year”.
Thus, he points out that they will “continue working to comply with the regulations and be able to stabilize the rest of the staff that is in that situation.”
With this Friday’s act, the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium stabilizes the personnel who had been occupying various positions uninterruptedly prior to January 1, 2016.
Most of them are part of the economic-administrative service and the technical unit of Logistics and Training.
The positions that have been consolidated are two General Administration Technician positions (legal branch), one General Administration Technician position (economic branch), three Administrative positions, one Administrative Assistant position, eight Technical Assistant positions, one Mechanic and a Firefighter position.
