The best urban walks in Candelaria

Make a trail through Tenerife It is one of the best options we can do to enjoy our free time. In addition to the great routes that we can find throughout the Island, when we want something simple we can choose to take a urban walk.

Candelaria It is one of the favorite municipalities to walk. Thanks to the large avenues and the variety of commercial and restaurant spaceshundreds of people choose Villa Mariana every day to take a walk.

From the Plaza de la Patrona itself to Caletillas there are several options that you can find to spend walking in good company.

Villa Mariana

One of the most common walks to do in the municipality of Candelaria, and the one that houses the most people, is the one that leads to the Basilica. A little pedestrian path where you can find everything, from souvenir shops, to restaurants, ice cream parlors or clothing stores. A short path to take with the family and enjoy an afternoon outdoors that leads to the Plaza de la Basilica, where the little ones can enjoy running or have an ice cream with views of the sea.

Rambla de los Menceyes

In the Punta Larga area we find the Rambla de los Menceyes. Another avenue where you can go for a walk through Candelaria and spend the afternoon having a drink in one of the many cafes in the area, or spending a day shopping.

It runs parallel to the maritime avenue and there are several representative sculptures of the Menceyes.

Caletillas

Also, if the day is good, you can also take advantage and give yourself a bathroom in the beach.

Definitely, Candelaria has a lot to offer and these walking options are some of the most chosen by visitors and residents.
