The northern City Council has decided to suspend the Garachico Pilgrimage due to the fire in Tenerife, originated last morning and that already affects mountain areas located in The Victory of Acentejo and Santa Úrsulaaccording to municipal sources.
All available resources, such as the firefighters who were on the spot, have been diverted to extinguish the fire, hence the suspension of one of the most important pilgrimages on the entire island.
