SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Sep 15 (EUROPA PRESS) –
La Palma has registered this Wednesday a 3.5 magnitude seismic movement south of the municipality of El Paso, one of the largest of those recorded since last Saturday seismic activity increased on the island.
According to data from the National Geographic Institute (IGN), this tremor was registered at 12.29 hours (Canary time) and had its epicenter 7 kilometers deep, south of the municipality of El Paso, in the southwestern part of the island.
Since last Sunday the IGN has recorded more than 900 tremors on the island of La Palma, 18 of which have exceeded magnitude 3. Yesterday there was also a 3.5 tremor, the maximum magnitude recorded so far.
