The Adeje City Council and Mitie Integra Canarias have signed an agreement to improve the employment of people at risk of social exclusion, especially with a certificate of disability, from the municipality. Present at the signing were the Councilor for Ecological Transition and Employment, Manuel Luis Mendez; the Councilor for Economic Development, Raquel Rodríguez; and the director of South and Canary Islands Operations of Mitie Integra Canarias, Leomar Ruiz. The mayor highlighted the importance of this collaboration and classified it as “necessary to improve the employability of people with functional diversity in the municipality.”
The Adeje City Council promotes the hiring of people with disabilities to improve their integration into the labor market. For its part, Mitie Integra Canarias aims to insert people with disabilities into the labor market, guaranteeing accessibility to the workplace.
