A 23-year-old motorcyclist is in a serious condition after suffering a fall while riding his motorcycle on a road in Guía de Isora, Tenerife. The young man sustained multiple traumas and was in cardiac arrest when emergency services arrived at the scene, necessitating his transfer in a medically equipped ambulance to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria.
According to the Canary Islands Government’s Security and Emergency area, the accident occurred on the TF-465 route, in the Vera de Erques area. Healthcare professionals from the SUC and Primary Care confirmed upon arrival that the individual had sustained serious injuries and was in cardiac arrest. They performed both basic and advanced cardiopulmonary resuscitation maneuvers, eventually restoring his heart rhythm.
Tenerife Firefighters were dispatched to the scene and assisted the healthcare personnel with the cardiopulmonary resuscitation efforts. Once immobilised and stabilised in the medical resource, the individual was transferred in the medically equipped ambulance, accompanied by the Primary Care medical team, to the hospital, where he was admitted in a critical state.
Emergency services also assisted a 76-year-old man who is in serious condition after being resuscitated from cardiac arrest in Adeje. The man was subsequently taken by medical ambulance to the University Hospital Nuestra Señora de Candelaria.
