La Orotava Initiates Archaeological Excavations on Teide for Francoism Victims’ Remains

The La Orotava Town Council, via its Cultural Heritage Department, has initiated archaeological investigations within Teide National Park to ascertain the presence of skeletal remains belonging to individuals who faced repression from the Francoist faction during the Spanish Civil War.
