Religious Events for the Eve of Saint Benedict Abbot

At 18:30 hours, III Day of the Triduum in honour of Saint Benedict Abbot, with the celebration of the Eucharist.
Upon its conclusion, a procession of the revered image of Saint Benedict Abbot will take place along the following route: Lucas Vega Avenue, Montaraz, Maya, Carretas, and Adelantado. Once past the Tower of Conception, the historic moment of the Meeting between two of the oldest and most venerated images of the City will occur: Saint Benedict Abbot and Saint Roch. Subsequently, both images will continue to parade together along the following route: Tizón, Plaza Doctor Olivera, and Marqués de Celada until reaching the Ermita of Saint Benedict, accompanied by the dances of San Diego and Guamasa, as well as the brotherhoods and guilds of the Parish of Santo Domingo de Guzmán and the Brotherhood of Saint Benedict. Upon arrival, there will be a fireworks display.

At 19:00 hours, the celebration of the Eucharist. Once completed, the procession of the image of Saint Roch to the Parish of Saint Benedict Abbot will occur, following the route: Santo Domingo Street, Adelantado Square, La Carrera Street, and Conception Square. At the corner with Tizón Street, the revered images will meet again, continuing to participate in the Eve of Saint Benedict Procession through: Plaza Doctor Olivera and Marqués de Celada Street to the ermita.

A parade of the Folkloric Groups of Seniors from La Laguna, accompanied by the Little Cars of San Benito.

Folkloric Festival 8 Islands. Featuring performances by: Javier Hernández, Candelaria González, Manuel Estupiñán, Angélica Casañas, Ciro Corujo, Víctor Brito, Isabel González, and the University Folkloric Group, showcasing the most representative songs, dances, and festive manifestations of the islands.

Traditional Eve Fair, on the San Benito stage, enlivened by the “Orquesta Generación”.
