Education and Cultural Initiative for Vulnerable Communities in the Canary Islands
ecca.edu and the Fundación CB Canarias have signed a crucial partnership to enhance support for vulnerable individuals through education and cultural integration. This strategic agreement aims to streamline assistance between the two organisations, focusing on inclusive education and social integration.
The signing event featured Santiago Cacho Peña, president of the Fundación CB Canarias, and José María Segura Salvador SJ, general director of ecca.edu. This collaboration establishes a lasting framework for cooperation based on their shared goals, primarily promoting culture and education for those in need.
Cacho Peña expressed the significance of the partnership, highlighting its potential to advance inclusive basketball initiatives and the benefits of collaborating with ecca.edu, which has a longstanding reputation in the field. He stated, “Together, we can build something truly beautiful.”
Segura Salvador added that this alliance exemplifies the power of combining resources to further their mission. “Opening new doors to inclusion through education needs strategic partnerships that place vulnerable individuals at the centre of action, providing them with real tools for cultural and social development in our islands.”
This agreement also enhances ecca.edu’s existing network aimed at developing opportunities and improving social progress. Collaborating with the Fundación CB Canarias bolsters cultural initiatives and reinforces the idea that strategic partnerships among committed institutions are essential for fostering a more cohesive and equitable knowledge society.
