The IV Edition of the Taoro Veran Festival in its extension Gran Canaria will feature the show New Worlds with the cinematic icon Bill Murray alongside cellist Jan Vogler, violinist Mira Wang, and pianist Vanessa Pérez. On June 15, the Alfredo Kraus Auditorium in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria will host an evening brimming with music, literature, and poetry, showcasing one of the most distinguished figures from the international film industry. The actor and comedian Bill Murray, famed for his roles in Ghostbusters, Groundhog Day, and Lost in Translation (2003), among others, will combine American literature and music in the performance New Worlds. He will be performing works by Foster, Gershwin, and Bernstein, while also reciting poetry and classic prose by renowned American authors such as Whitman, Hemingway, and Twain. For this performance, he will be joined on stage by cellist Jan Vogler, violinist Mira Wang, and pianist Vanessa Pérez.

The Taoro Veran Festival is recognised for its cultural dedication and its respect for nature. This year, it aims to reaffirm its CEROCO2 certification from the Ecology and Development Foundation (ECODES) by implementing new sustainability and environmental awareness initiatives.
The Gran Canaria extension of Veranos del Taoro, organised by Encaro Factory, has the support of the Cabildo de Gran Canaria (the island of my life), the Las Palmas City Council, and the Pérez Galdós Theatre. The fourth edition of the Taoro Veran Festival, which showcases a rich programme throughout various locations in June, is supported by the Canary Islands Government (Canary Islands, Latitude of Life), Cabildo de Tenerife (Tenerife awakens emotions), and the Puerto de la Cruz City Council (Culture). The initiative collaborates with Puerto de la Cruz’s tourism centre, along with the Association for Business Development, Canarian Screen, EcoPress Communications, and Botany Food & Event.
