Getcurroconponoscom is the distinctive name of the website designed particularly for individuals aged 16 to 34 years. The Employment and Youth departments of the Cabildo de Tenerife aim to engage this demographic to facilitate their initial foray into the workforce, currently targeting nearly 4,000 individuals. This initiative is part of the Ponos Project, which is set to enter its fourth edition during the 2024-2025 academic year. In the preceding year, 2023-2024, a total of 524 workshops focusing on employability were conducted, resulting in 360 participants successfully entering the job market, with 237 companies taking part. Since the project’s inception in 2021, that brings the cumulative total to 717 participants. This year, the goal is to surpass that number, supported by a noteworthy addition: the island’s budget now includes a dedicated allocation of 1.5 million euros.
