Tragedy has struck the roads of the Canary Islands for the second consecutive day: a motorist lost their life after their vehicle overturned in Gran Canaria, close to Santa Lucía de Tirajana. Additionally, a cyclist was airlifted following a collision with a car in Tejeda, and a pedestrian was struck in La Palma. This grim tally follows Sunday’s incidents, where one motorcyclist died and four others sustained injuries, alongside several drivers of cars involved in accidents. In total, the Islands have witnessed two fatalities and around a dozen injuries within a mere 24-hour period.
