Judge Prepares Mediator Case for Trial Amid Ranchers’ Alleged Extortion Issues

The fourth court in Santa Cruz de Tenerife has concluded the inquiry into a second case arising from the purported corruption scandal known as the ‘Mediator case’: an alleged blackmail scheme directed at farmers facing legal difficulties, led by former deputy Juan Bernardo Fuentes Curbelo (PSOE) and the ex-Director of Livestock for the Canary Islands Government, Taishet Fuentes.
