American Cargo Ship Alters Its Route Between Tenerife and La Palma
On 5th January, an American cargo vessel, owned by the United States Department of Maritime Administration, began to follow various unusual paths between Tenerife and La Palma. After over 40 hours without a defined route and maintaining an average speed of between 14 and 16 knots, the ‘Cape Texas’ shifted its course and has now positioned itself to the northeast of Gran Canaria.
