SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, March 19 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Tenerife will have a new call for ‘Train Employment +’ in April, a free job orientation program to improve the employability and job placement of women. This initiative is promoted by the Santa María la Real Foundation and is financed by the Ministry of Social Affairs and Agenda 2030, within the framework of the IRPF 2022 subsidy.
‘Train Employment +’ Tenerife, which also has the collaboration of the Cabildo, through Fifede, will take place between April and June in an online format and will have a maximum of 20 seats. Unemployed women from all over the island, aged between 18 and 60, may participate; with any level of studies (without studies, ESO, Vocational Training, Baccalaureate, university degrees, etc.), and coming from any professional sector, with or without previous experience.
Long-term unemployed women will have priority; and especially those who find themselves in this situation after a professional break to dedicate themselves to maternity or unpaid care of relatives (generally ascendants). Active women who have employment contracts of less than part-time may also participate.
The participating women will have the advice of specialists to carry out a new job search itinerary and focus their professional objective; update your resume; strengthen transversal skills and digital skills for employment; rehearse interviews to gain confidence in selection processes; prepare employability maps and make visits to companies in search of their insertion.
In all job orientation activities, the skills that women have acquired or reinforced during maternity or caring for relatives will be identified and valued, so that they can later apply them in their job prospecting.
The participating women, at the end of the program, will receive a certificate that accredits their level of digital skills and abilities; and they will have the possibility of participating in the Plan Acompaña, which provides follow-up and subsequent advice for their job prospecting.
Women interested in participating in this totally free program have until April 7 to register at https://bit.ly/InscripcionEntrenaEmpleoPlus
