Additional $15 Million Allocated for Islands Facing Water Crisis
Fuerteventura, Lanzarote, and Tenerife have received a notable ‘Grand Prize’ from the Canary Islands Government to address the water crisis. The Department of Territorial Policy, led by Manuel Miranda, has successfully secured an exceptional loan of 15 million euros from the regional cabinet to assist these three island councils in undertaking vital projects to mitigate the challenges arising from drought and the shortfall in water production.
