SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 12 Aug. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Tenerife Intercity Transport (TITSA), an entity under the administration of the Tenerife Island Council, will enhance the service of line 363, which connects Puerto de la Cruz-Icod de los Vinos-Garachico-Los Silos-Buenavista, to cater to the San Roque Pilgrimage on Friday, 16th August.
The special operation will commence at 9:00 a.m. and will be adjusted according to user demand, increasing the capacity of the regular service by 5,000 extra seats throughout the day until the final special departure from Garachico towards Puerto de la Cruz and Buenavista.
In the event of congestion caused by high private vehicle traffic, the TF-42 road will be closed to general traffic between kilometres 0 and 7.8, except for public transport and commercial vehicles. This measure will enable buses to travel more swiftly on the road, leading to time savings for passengers using public transport to attend the Pilgrimage.
All stops in both directions in the centre of Garachico between 9:00 and 23:00 will be suspended, with all services redirected to the special stop that will be established on the esplanade of the car park next to the football pitch.
The company aims to address passengers’ requirements and provide them with improved service. Passengers wishing to obtain more details can visit the website www.titsa.com, contact the information telephone number, 922 53.13.00, or engage through the company’s social media channels.
