The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Local Police reported on Friday morning the toppling of a large tree in the Rambla de Santa Cruz.
The tree trunk fell directly onto the two lanes of the road leading out of Santa Cruz, necessitating traffic diversion until the tree could be completely cleared.
The incident occurred close to the Canary Islands Government’s Department of Health headquarters at number 51 on that street.
