SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 19 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The performance by musician Ed Sheeran on June 29 at the Heliodoro Rodríguez López Stadium has resulted in an economic boost of more than 14 million Euros in Tenerife, as revealed by calculations released this Friday by the Canarian production company New Event.

The English artist attracted around 37,000 attendees, with 39% of them coming from outside Tenerife and representing over 50 countries. Tickets were sold out within hours since they went on sale in November.

Additionally, during her stay on the island, she filmed her latest music video, ‘Tenerife Sea’, showcasing the picturesque landscapes of the San Andrés neighbourhood in Santa Cruz. This further underlines her emotional connection to the region,” stated the production company.

Leo Mansito, the director of New Event, which also orchestrated the Granca Live Fest this summer, highlighted that “their dedication to large-scale festivals featuring nationally and internationally acclaimed artists reflects a commitment to high-quality entertainment, now a staple in the archipelago.”
