The Road Department of the Tenerife Island Council has initiated efforts to enhance the road conditions in the vicinity of the La Campana industrial estate in El Rosario municipality. The improvements will commence tomorrow at 9:30 p.m. and will be ongoing until Friday at 6:30 a.m. The focus of the works will be the junction between the TF-28 and TF-1 island highways, necessitating the temporary closure of the lane under maintenance at any given time.
These enhancements require an investment of 40,000 Euros and are anticipated to be finalized within three months.
Dámaso Arteaga, the Road Councillor, elaborates that the maintenance of this road is crucial due to its current dilapidated state, resulting in “an increasing inconvenience for drivers on a daily basis, and hazardous situations arise as motorists attempt to veer or avoid the prevalent potholes, which almost completely cover the roadway,” he highlights.
