Altercation in Puerto de la Cruz Leaves Two Men Suffering Moderate Injuries from a Knife



In Puerto de la Cruz, on the island of Tenerife, a 42-year-old and a 20-year-old man sustained moderate injuries from a knife during an altercation. This information was provided by the 1-1-2 Emergency and Security Coordinating Center in the Canary Islands.

The incident took place at 10:45 p.m. on Wednesday at Avenida Melchor Luz in the mentioned town. The Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) staff, along with a doctor and nurse from the Puerto de la Cruz Health Centre, examined the 42-year-old man who had a moderate stab wound, and the 20-year-old man to ensure there were no complications. Both individuals were transported by ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital.

Local Police officers also intervened to defuse the situation, cooperating with other emergency services, while the National Police conducted necessary procedures.
