It’s the ideal scenario, what should be done more often: If you’re heading out for a party, it’s better not to drive, but to use public transport to get there and back with the assurance that the risk of a traffic accident will be minimal. And if you happen to hop on a bus when attending a pilgrimage or “baile de magos”, start singing on the bus and the entire crew joins in, including the bus driver, it is definitely a moment to, as the locals say, “frame“.
This is what happened to a group in Tenerife, who boarded a Titsa bus ready for fun and good vibes. So much so that even the driver joined in the banter, much to the delight of all passengers on board.
In a video shared on the social network TikTok by user @steisyoa6, a fairly large group of youngsters dressed as magicians can be seen inside a bus. There is no context in the video, so it is unclear whether the group was heading to a party or on their way back home. However, humor and festivity spirit filled the entire bus.

One of the youngsters said “Driver, turn off the lights”. He was referring, of course, to the bus’s interior lights. The driver complied for a few seconds while the group sang and played the popular song “La farola del mar”, which as everyone knows opens with the lyrics: “This night she doesn’t shine, the lamp post by the sea, this night she doesn’t shine, for she has no gas”.

The response to the video has been overwhelmingly positive towards the driver’s attitude. Many viewers even commented claiming to be part of the group that was having such a great time on the bus. “A great driver and we had so much fun on the bus,” one user remarked, to which another replied: “And he put up with us quite well”. Meanwhile, another individual said: “This is what tourists come for, our priceless values.”
