The Urban Planning Management of Santa Cruz de Tenerife has excelled in the transparency evaluation for the year 2022 and the first half of 2023, receiving a perfect score of 10. This evaluation, recently released by the Transparency Commissioner of the Canary Islands, highlights the commitment to transparency and accessibility of public information.

In accordance with Law 12/2014, the evaluation is based on the information available on the Urban Planning transparency portal. Zaida González, the councilor responsible for the area, described the achievement as making the institution “more accessible, transparent, and capable of fostering social and economic benefits through the open exchange of information.”

González emphasized that this rating is a testament to the collective effort to ensure that data on the Urban Planning website meets all legal requirements. This, in turn, enhances the quality of services provided to citizens.

In recognition of its transparency efforts, the Management was previously honoured in 2018 with the Canary Islands Digital Quality Seal by the Transparency Commissioner.
