This Saturday, April 20, the Tenerife Tram will be operating to the Plaza de la Paz stop one hour before the scheduled start of the demonstration advocating for a new tourism model in the Canary Islands, that is, from 11:00 am onwards.
From 11:00 a.m. onwards, stops at Plaza Weyler, Teatro Guimerá, Fundación, and Intercambiador will not be in service.
Additionally, on Sunday, the service will extend to the Guimerá Theater stop, starting at 11:30 a.m., due to an athletic event organized by the National Police.
In both instances, full line circulation restoration will be subject to prior authorisation from the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
Bus service alterations
Titsa has also notified changes to five of its bus lines and the temporary closure of several stops this Saturday.
From 11:00 a.m. until the end of the demonstration, lines 902, 904, 905, 912, and 914 will be impacted.
Moreover, the stops at Weyler, Plaza Militar, Capitanía, Parque García Sanabria, Méndez Núñez, El Pilar, Plaza del Príncipe, Villalba Hervás, La Alameda, Plaza de Isabel II, La Marina, 25 de julio, and Buenos Aires, among others, will be temporarily out of service.
