SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 2nd April. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Today, Tuesday, a small boat carrying 159 migrants reached the shores of El Hierro after setting off from a location on the African coast several days ago towards the Canary archipelago.
According to information from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2, the vessel was spotted early this afternoon by Maritime Rescue, south of La Restinga.
Upon disembarking, the SUC and Red Cross team provided them with medical assistance, with three individuals being transported to Ntra. de los Reyes Hospital for minor health issues.
