Members of the General Corps of the Canarian Police (CGPC) located during the morning of this Wednesday, March 23 in the municipality of Santa Cruz of Tenerife yet under 14 years old how old he was in a state alarmingboth in health and in the aspect of family care. Among other things, the adolescent had had a fever for several days, lacked the strength to walk, had chapped lips and had not been to his school for several days.
According to reports, members of the Minors and Family Unit of the Autonomous Police who performed the service had been trying to locate the aforementioned minor for some time.
In the end, yesterday the minor was found with his mother in an irregularly occupied house. Supposedly, said property does not meet the minimum conditions of habitability and health.
Among other things, the minor did not have the strength to walk, he had had a fever for several days and his lips were busted, according to the CGPC officials who went to the house. And he suffers from a worrying episode of truancy.
Given these circumstances, the agents of the Autonomous Police made a photographic report of the house in which the adolescent and his mother reside.
In fact, said members of the Minors and Family Unit proceeded to inform the General Directorate for Minors of the Canary Islands Government. In addition, they activated an ambulance to take the child to a hospital where he would receive adequate care.
Officials plan to initiate a report so that a file of abandonment is initiated in the Ministry of Social Rights, with the aim of guaranteeing the well-being of the adolescent and that he remains, for now, under the tutelage of the autonomous government.
