SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 24th March (EUROPA PRESS) –
Planning ahead, The Port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife is preparing for approximately 320 cruise calls throughout the upcoming 2023-24 season. Additionally, it is set to welcome ten cruise vessels on their first stop with passengers and crew.
This information has been shared by the Port Authority of Santa Cruz de Tenerife (APSCTF), announcing that the ship ‘Seabourn Venture’ will be docking at the Tenerife port at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 26th March, arriving from Dakar. Managed in Tenerife by Hamilton y Cía. SA, this ship is 172 meters long and 24 meters wide. It is scheduled to depart that same day at 11:00 p.m. towards the port of Agadir.
In the month of April, the arrival of seven more cruise ships is anticipated. The ‘Emerald Sakara’ is expected on April 17, followed by ‘Norwegian Viva’ on the 20th, and then ‘Viking Sky’ and ‘Celebrity Ascent’ two days later.
Specifically on the 22nd of April, the port will see a convergence of five ships, adding to the previously mentioned two, the ‘National Geographic Endurance’, ‘Norwegian Star’, ‘Sky Princess’, and ‘World Traveller’.
April 24th will mark the maiden visit of the ship ‘Viking Neptune’ to the port, while ‘Nieuw Statendam’ and ‘Resilient Lady’ are scheduled for the 26th and 30th of April respectively.
The ‘Resilient Lady’ will arrive at 8:00 from the port of Casablanca. Operating under Incargo SL on the Island, this vessel measures 277 meters in length and 42 meters in width. It is set to depart on April 30th at 5:00 p.m., bound for Valencia.
April 24th will also be a bustling day at the Chicharrero port with arrivals from five cruise ships: ‘World Traveller’, ‘Star Pride’, ‘AIDA Cosma’, ‘Viking Neptune’.
Moving into May, the ‘Queen Anne’ cruise liner will make its debut call at our port, specifically on Sunday, the 19th at 7:00 a.m. Also handled by Hamilton y Cía. SA, this vessel stands out for its size, measuring 323 meters in length and 40 meters in width. It will depart from the capital of Tenerife that same afternoon at 5:00 p.m.
Closing the arrivals on the Tenerife coast, the ‘Serenade of the Seas’ is scheduled for June 12th, arriving from Dakar. Measuring 293 meters in length and 40 meters in width, it will set sail for Gibraltar at 8:00 p.m.
