SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 16th March (EUROPA PRESS) –
Yesterday morning, a male aged around 35 lost his life in a road incident on the TF-47 highway near the Callao Salvaje area, within the Adeje municipality of Tenerife, according to information shared by the Coordinating Center of Emergencies and Security (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The tragic event took place at approximately 5:20 a.m. The 1-1-2 emergency service was notified about a collision involving a car and a motorcycle on the TF-47 island highway which resulted in a fire outbreak at the scene.
The 1-1-2 promptly mobilized the necessary emergency services comprising members of the Tenerife Fire Consortium, a basic life support ambulance, a medicalized ambulance from the SUC, Civil Guard, Local Police and personnel from the Conservation Service of Cabildo roads.
The firefighters successfully extinguished the fire on the motorcycle and collaborated with other emergency responders. Medical personnel from the SUC sadly confirmed the motorcyclist’s passing and provided assistance to a 28-year-old male occupant of the car involved in the tragic accident.
The law enforcement officials dispatched by the Coordinating Center secured the area and conducted the necessary investigative procedures, while the Road Maintenance Service personnel undertook road cleaning tasks.
