The Tenerife Island Council will commence improvement works on the TF-5 road at the San Lázaro junction from this Thursday, which will conclude on Friday. The works will affect the exit from the TF-235 road towards Santa Cruz.
The works, scheduled from 22:00 to 06:00, will take place at kilometer point 4+300 of the mentioned road. This will impact the circular turn at the TF-152 road roundabout as well as the deceleration lane from the ascending TF-5 towards TF-235, as detailed in a press release.
Furthermore, the Tenerife Island Council added that these works are in addition to road surface rehabilitation and comprehensive safety measure improvements on the TF-652, TF-653, and TF-662 roads, with a total investment of two million euros.
In addition, it was explained that the 2024 budget includes an allocation of 4.2 million euros for rehabilitation works on 16 roads, bypasses, and crossings, in addition to 34.8 million euros for road improvement projects such as TF-12, road surface rehabilitation on TF-1, and the Padre Anchieta footbridge.
