This Wednesday, skies will be generally clear, except for occasional intervals on the coasts of the western islands of Canarias, where the presence of calima will be slight and will diminish in the afternoon, and temperatures will not undergo significant changes, according to the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

The wind will blow lightly from various directions on the coasts, while in the mountains, it will be moderate from the south, shifting to the northwest with strong intervals, more intense in the high peaks of Tenerife.

As for the sea conditions, the wind will generally blow with force 2 or 3, occasionally from the east or northeast with force 4. There will be a slight swell, locally choppy at certain points in the archipelago and a northerly swell of around two meters high.

Here is the island-by-island forecast for this Wednesday:

Mostly clear, with intervals in the northern and western coasts at night. Slight calima diminishing in the afternoon. Temperatures with little change or a slight decrease in maximums in inland areas on the northern and western slopes. Local temperatures of 30°C could be reached in the southern interior. Light northwest wind on the coasts, and light to moderate westerly winds in midlands and highlands with occasional strong gusts in the peaks.

Expected minimum and maximum temperatures (°C):

Las Palmas de Gran Canaria 19 25

Clear skies, with occasional intervals on the western coast in the afternoon. Slight calima in general. Maximum temperatures slightly to moderately decreasing on the western slope, with little change elsewhere, so 30°C could still be reached in inland areas. Minimum temperatures slightly rising. Light northwest wind, except in elevated interior areas with strong southern winds during the night, calming to moderate for the rest of the day.

Expected minimum and maximum temperatures (°C):
