Javier Cabrera, the president of the Southern Circle of Businesspeople and Professionals ofTenerife (CEST), had a meeting – at the Génova Financial Club in Madrid – with Alfonso Merlos, the vice president of Dexter, a company specialized in financing for businesses with over 20 years of experience in the financial sector. In addition to reviewing the projects already being developed in the region, the CEST highlighted the advantages of investing in Tenerife “with the aim of promoting entrepreneurs to carry out their activities.”
Cabrera explains that “for the Circle, it is essential to continue building its network of business contacts, even more so with companies like Dexter, which not only is a leader, but also offers alternatives for financing fundamental projects for the economic future of southern Tenerife.”
“We are a business organization that aims to contribute to the promotion of economic activity, and for this, it is essential to have an ally that is a top-level financial operator in the world,” he states. The president of CEST assures that the southern part of the island “is a prominent point on the international map, and it is becoming increasingly common for national and international investors or entrepreneurs to show interest in this territory to develop their initiatives.”
Alfonso Merlos focuses on the increase in the number of operations of his company in Tenerife and is pleased with the notoriety that the Dexter brand is gaining on the island. “We are encountering a very receptive business community to the advantages of private capital to boost the economy, which has made the financing of numerous projects on the island possible,” he emphasizes.
