A plethora of over 30 performers are all set to participate in the upcoming festivities on Sunday, February 11, at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Day Carnival as announced by the local authorities.
Commencing from noon, the Plaza de la Candelaria will be brought to life with an electrifying set by DJ Richard from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. The celebrations will include a special tribute commemorating fifty years of the iconic song ‘Santa Cruz en Carnaval’, taking place from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Following this, the Columbia Orchestra will take the stage at 3:00 p.m.
Lively performances will continue as the Maracaibo Orchestra entertains the audience at 4:30 p.m.; Moise Gonzalez is scheduled to grace the stage at 6:00 p.m., to be followed by Luis Deseda from 8:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Closing the night’s festivities, the Tropin Orchestra will take the stage at 10:00 p.m.
Meanwhile, in the Plaza del Príncipe, the festivities will kick off with the vibrant tunes of Neither Fú Nor Fá at 11:00 a.m., followed by The Fregolinos at 12:00 p.m. The renowned Buenavista Social Club will grace the stage at 1:30 p.m., with the Dinacord Orchestra scheduled to perform at 3:30 p.m. The Guaracha Orchestra will take over from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and subsequently, the El Bembé Orchestra will enchant the audience at 6:30 p.m. The evening will crescendo with an enthralling performance by the Guava Orchestra at 8:00 p.m.
Furthermore, the Francisco La Roche stage will feature a spectacular lineup of artists from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with Ray Castellano taking the stage at 8:00 p.m. followed by DJ Quique Serra who will keep the music going until 11:00 p.m.
