An elderly woman, 76, sustained injuries in a traffic accident that took place on Saturday in the municipality of Garachico, in Tenerife, as per the report from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident occurred around 5:30 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert regarding a collision involving two cars on the TF-42 highway, resulting in one person sustaining injuries.
Upon arrival at the scene, SUC personnel provided medical assistance and transferred the injured individual to the Hospital del Norte as she had sustained various moderate traumas. The Civil Guard managed the traffic in the area and oversaw the necessary procedures.
