On January 21, the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife welcomed the “MSC Euribia“, a gigantic cruise ship that makes a 22-day trip, including for the first time five stops in Spanish ports, of which three are located in the Canary Islands. Last Friday she visited Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, yesterday she docked in Arrecife de Lanzarote and during the night she sailed until she reached the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

He “MSC Euribia” was built at the Chantiers de L’Atlantique shipyard in St Nazaire, France, and debuted in May 2023. She belongs to the Meraviglia-plus class, which has been redesigned to run on liquefied natural gas, with her companions in this class being the ships “MSC Grandiosa” and “MSC Virtuosa”.
With a gross tonnage of 215,863 and a deadweight of 18,419 tons, the ship has a length of 331 meters, a width of 43 meters and a maximum draft of 8.80 meters. She has a maximum capacity to accommodate 6,334 passengers in 2,419 cabins, in addition to having a crew of 1,711 people.
