One of the most famous brothels in the Tenerife capital was the one located on San Sebastián Avenue, in the Buenos Aires neighborhood, of which only its fame remains. The Hungarian House, in a state of abandonment, has just been demolished.

For many years, the management of this place was in charge of a very refined and elegant lady, known as La Húngara. In this establishment, couples of lovers met discreetly, arriving in their vehicles or taxis, for their intimate encounters. In this space of discreet meetings, one of the regulars was Concha la Package, who had an English admirer with a peculiar sense of humor. The British client jokingly used to forget the nickname of her muse and affectionately called her Concha la Bulto.

Among the numerous stories that circulate about this urban legend, it is said that once, a couple from the Peninsula, on their honeymoon in Tenerife, was in trouble finding accommodation, since all the hotels were full. A taxi driver recommended Casa La Húngara, where they spent the night, experiencing some unusual moments. As a gesture of gratitude, the owner of the establishment used to reward taxi drivers with small commissions for taking clients to her house.

In addition, the property had exclusive parking spaces, and no one was allowed to enter or leave the residence without prior authorization from the owner. The latter strove to avoid any visual contact between the various clients, thus ensuring a total level of discretion.
