The wind will blow with strong intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes of Canary Islands for this Friday, in which some generally weak and isolated precipitation is not ruled out, according to the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).
The skies of the Canary Islands will present intervals of high clouds in general, with medium clouds at dawn, as well as intervals of low clouds during the first half of the day and last hours in Lanzarote and Fuerteventura and in the north of the islands of greater relief, where some weak and isolated precipitation is not ruled out.
The temperatures will remain with little change, although it is expected that there will be a predominance of decreases in the high peaks of Tenerife and Gran Canaria and the ascents in high areas of the westernmost islands.
The wind will blow from the northeast with strong intervals on the southeast and northwest slopes, shifting to the north in the afternoon. Predominance of breezes on the southwest and south coasts of the mountainous islands. On summits, light to moderate wind from the northwest, which will be strong on the central summits of Tenerife.
Regarding the state of the sea, the winds will blow from the northeast, with force 4 or 5 in a large part of the Canary coasts, being able to intensify to force 6 offshore in the western islands and Gran Canaria. There will be worse sea conditions in the north of the islands compared to the south.
