A 48-year-old man was injured this Sunday with trauma to his leg after a collision between a car and a motorcycle in Garachico.
The events occurred at 10:21 a.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was reported that a motorcyclist required medical assistance after the collision of a car and a motorcycle on Adolso Suárez Avenue.
Firefighters secured the damaged vehicles and freed the motorcyclist, as he remained trapped by a part of the structure of the motorcycle, while SUC personnel assessed and assisted the affected person, who was transferred by sanitized ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital.
The Civil Guard regulated traffic in the area and carried out the corresponding report
