SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, December 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Paraninfo of the University of La Laguna (ULL) hosts this Tuesday, at 7:00 p.m., the preview of the documentary ‘Quesada: the truth of silence’, directed by Iván López and produced by Lamberto Guerra.
The film compiles a documentation work for which Iván López has used and developed 15 years of research and the result is the most complete audiovisual document to date on the figure and the subsequent events surrounding the murder of the young Javier Fernández Quesada.
The documentary also provides unpublished material with photographs by photojournalist Carlos Bosch, video images compiled over the years by the director and the reconstruction of the events illustrated and animated by the Catalan illustrator Gerard Freixes.
The main music is performed by royal composer Jesús Agomar, who has composed several original pieces that offer for the first time a musical identity to the figure of the deceased student.
More than thirty testimonies from witnesses and direct protagonists of that time complete this work that aims to do justice to the memory of Javier Fernández Quesada from a humanist point of view, according to a note from the director.
This screening also coincides with the place and date of the events, 46 years later, and will be attended by Javier’s relatives, friends, investigators of the case and political authorities to pay tribute to the memory of Javier Fernández Quesada.
