The spokesperson for the residents of a building located on Prolongación de Ramón y Cajal street, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, commented on the program Herrera in Cope Tenerife the concern that exists among the residents of the property regarding the method of those responsible/owners of a flat vacation rental to leave the keys to your clients.

The residents of this building, according to the version given by Javier to the aforementioned media, were astonished when they came across a kind of wooden box attached to a small tree for tenants to collect the keys without the intervention of the owner.

This has generated “great insecurity and unrest” among the rest of the owners, since they understand that through this system “anyone can easily break or open that box and take not only the keys to the vacation rental apartment,” but also “ those of the portal.”

Sources from the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council have indicated to Cope Tenerife that the owners of said vacation rental homes will be ordered to remove the aforementioned wooden box, “as soon as possible”, since its location would not comply with municipal regulations.
