SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 29. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The president of the Cabildo of Tenerife, Rosa Dávila, has shown this Wednesday her confidence in attracting more additional public funds from the central government and the Government of the Canary Islands to increase the two million included in next year’s island budget for the improvement of the Heliodoro Rodríguez Stadium Lopez.
In a press conference to report on the agreements of the Government Council, he said that they can also be incorporated into the remaining treasury accounts of the corporation itself and he understands that with the two million already allocated, the way is opened to renew the seats.
The president has said that she is not aware that there is “any discomfort” among the CD Tenerife board due to the low investment — “at least it has not been conveyed to me” — although the club’s president, Paulino Rivero, has said on ‘Radio Club Tenerife’ that the two million are “insufficient” and he trusts that resources will be increased so that the stadium is completely renovated in 2025, when it celebrates its centenary.
