He La Laguna City Council and the company Effico will launch the device throughout this week Christmas lights preview for La Cuesta, Punta del Hidalgo, Bajamar, Taco, Tejina and Valle de Guerra. In total, more than 800 reasons alluding to this festival.
The mayor of La Laguna, Luis Yeray Gutiérrez, will be in charge of inaugurating this lighting display, which once again will have the latest LED technology available, thus reducing the energy consumption of this decoration and minimizing its environmental impact.
These events will be accompanied by different revitalization activities, as in previous editions.
This week’s lighting will start today in La Cuesta (7:00 p.m.), in the Plaza del Tranvía.
Tomorrow it will be the turn of Punta del Hidalgo (also at 7:00 p.m.), in the plaza of the San Mateo church; and Bajamar (8:30 p.m.), on Gran Poder Avenue.
Meanwhile, on Thursday the lights of the center of Taco will be turned on, at 7:00 p.m., from the José Hernández Arocha square, and on Friday this round of lighting will move to Valle de Guerra (7:00 p.m.), near the church of Nuestra Señora del Rosario, and Tejina (8:30 p.m.), from Plaza del Ramal.
This week’s events reach the towns and neighborhoods of the municipality after the celebration of the Christmas lighting of the historic center, which brought together thousands of people last Friday and was the prelude to the massive Noche en Blanco, which brought together more than 120,000 people .
