Vehicle Overturns on Tenerife’s Northern Highway, Injuring Five People

This Sunday, five individuals sustained injuries, one of whom was in a serious condition, following a car overturning on the northern motorway of Tenerife near San Benito (La Laguna), as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordination Centre 1-1-2.

When emergency services arrived, all vehicle occupants were outside the car, prompting firefighters to secure the accident vehicle and assist with other emergency operations.

Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) dispatched four ambulances to aid the five injured individuals, including a 30-year-old man who suffered severe arm trauma and was transferred to the Canary Islands University Hospital.

Additionally, a 36-year-old man with a moderate leg injury and a 39-year-old woman with arm injuries, both classified as moderate, received treatment and were taken to Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria Hospital and San Juan de Dios Hospital, respectively.

Moreover, a 36-year-old man sustained minor arm injuries and was transported to La Candelaria Hospital, while a 30-year-old woman was treated at the scene of the incident for an anxiety attack.

Furthermore, the Civil Guard managed the traffic flow on the road and prepared the necessary report, while Road Service Personnel conducted cleaning operations on the roadway.
