A man was injured when a palm leaf fell on him while working on the main highway of La Victoria

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Nov. 21. (EUROPA PRESS) –

A 31-year-old man was injured this Tuesday with moderate head trauma and neck pain when a palm leaf fell on him while he was working on the main road in La Victoria.

The events occurred shortly before 11:15 a.m. when the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (CECOES) 1-1-2 of the Government of the Canary Islands received an alert in which it was reported that a person had been injured while working, after the fall of the leaf of a palm tree, on the main road.

The SUC health personnel assisted the affected person who was transferred to the San Juan de Dios Hospital while the Local Police carried out the corresponding procedures.
