A man, in serious condition after being recovered from cardiorespiratory arrest on a beach in Tenerife



A 61-year-old man has been seriously affected after being recovered from cardiorespiratory arrest on El Médano beach, in Granadilla de Abona (Tenerife), as reported by the 1-1-2 Emergency and Security Coordinating Center. Canary Islands.

The events occurred this Sunday afternoon. Personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) went to said beach after being alerted by the Red Cross beach service, which informed them that a bather had suffered a cardiorespiratory arrest from which he had recovered, but who showed signs of drowning.

Once at the scene, SUC personnel verified that the man had signs of serious incomplete drowning, so he was transferred in an SUC ambulance to the Hospiten Sur University Hospital.

Agents from the Local Police and the Civil Guard also appeared at the scene of the incident, collaborating with the intervening resources.
