He Ministry of Ecological Transition has provisionally approved the granting of aid worth 58.4 million euros to 39 renewable energy projects in Canary Islandscharged to the funds that the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan assigns to the islands.
Of the total number of projects that appear in the proposed resolution of this call for aid from the Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy of Spain (IDAE)24 propose installations in Gran Canariaeleven in Fuerteventura and four in Tenerife.
Another 39 projects that were eligible for these same funds have not been admitted for not complying with the requirements of the call.
The biggest
Gran Canaria is not only the island with the most approved projects, but also the one that will host the initiative with the largest subsidy, which will receive aid from 5.69 million of euros.
Specifically, it is a project of the multinational Enel Green Power to install a photovoltaic solar park in the municipality of San Bartolome de Tirajana.
Next in amount of subsidy granted – provisionally – is a project from the Gran Canaria Solar Energy Technology Park for a photovoltaic solar installation in San Bartolome of Tirajana with associated hydrogen production. The aid that the IDAE proposes to assign to you in this resolution is 3.94 million of euros.
Storages
Thirdly, there is a project of Naturgy Renewables which is proposed to be supported with 3.63 million euros to install new electricity storage systems in existing renewable resources in Agüimes (Gran Canaria).
Fourth, the Tenerife project appears with more proposed aid: an initiative of DISA Renewables for a photovoltaic solar system in Arico, to which the resolution provisionally assigns a subsidy of 2.45 million euros.
Below figure Satocan Conservation and Maintenance, which has obtained, in principle, 2.43 million euros for a photovoltaic solar park project in Santa Lucía de Tirajana (Gran Canaria), associated with the production of hydrogen.
Fuerteventura
In Fuerteventura, the society Canary Islands Development and Innovation receives four grant proposals of 1.72 million euros each to install new storage systems for electricity generated by existing renewable plants in The olive.
The final resolution of the aid is still pending for the requesting entities to present the allegations that they deem appropriate and correct those issues that have been requested of them.
