One side of El Rosario City Council announces this Wednesday that, due to the breakage of the Aguamansa canal, intermittent water cuts have to be made in the Penitentiary Center Tenerife II and other points of the municipality.
The affected areas, in addition to the prison, are Egatesa, Embutidos de Tenerife and Llano del Moro (La Mina, del Medio, La Palma and Los Bacallado roads, and Los Amigos, Viñatea, Los Costeros and Francisco Paulino Vera streets, among others), the document lists.

It so happens that last Thursday, at a conference at the Economics, the mayor of El Rosario, Escolásico Gil (IR-Greens), He insisted on the need to find a solution to the water supply problems in the prison, while regretting the treatment received by the State.

Gil noted that the prison only has a 24-hour warehouse, and expanded on his criticism of Penitentiary Institutions and the State: “After 34 years since they installed the prison here, we are still abandoned.”
