Agents of the Civil Guard belonging to the Investigation Area of the Main Post of Candelaria, in Tenerife, have arrested a resident of said municipality as the alleged perpetrator of a crime of robbery with force inside a home by the “escalo method”.
As reported by the worthy, the man stole several pieces of jewelry while the residents of the house were sleeping inside.
The events occurred recently at night when a neighbor discovered that during the night, and while she was sleeping in her bedroom, someone had entered her home without her realizing it and had stolen a series of jewelry of great sentimental value and valued at approximately 400 euros, explains the Civil Guard.
The complaint was filed the next morning by the victim, the agents began an investigation thanks to which they obtained various clues in a short period of time. With them, they were able to identify, locate and arrest the alleged perpetrator of the events in just two hours, when he was still carrying all the stolen jewelry in his pockets, which were therefore recovered and delivered to its legitimate owner.
The detainee, along with the proceedings carried out, has been placed at the disposal of the Güímar Guard Court of Investigation.
