SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Oct. 2 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Teobaldo Power Auditorium will host the eighteenth edition of the Villa de La Orotava Short Film Festival on November 9, 10 and 11, which in 2023 has closed its registration period with a total of 620 short films received, after the period for receiving works was active for just over a month and a half.
Once again, the main activity of this exhibition dedicated to short films is divided into several installments. On the 9th, the exhibition of the short films in competition will take place in the Canary Section, in which regional creators will participate.
One day later, the first of the Official Section deliveries will take place, which will continue on November 11. In this last event the winners of both modalities will be known. Tickets for all Festival activities will soon be available through the website. www.tickety.es.
In the near future, the organization will offer more details on its website (www.festivalcortosorotava.com) brings closer the screening of this exhibition and the rest of the programming, which will include screenings of short films in different educational centers on the Island, exhibitions and specific screenings in different spaces in the municipality.
The La Orotava Short Film Festival is organized by Cinenfoque together with the La Orotava City Council, the Canary Islands Institute of Cultural Development of the Government of the Canary Islands, the Island Council, and different public and private entities.
